What it can tell you
For a SKU returned by the targeted search, the receipt compares the CSV row with that variant's current base price and compare-at price in Shopify.

Bring the intended file
Select a Shopify product CSV with SKU, price, and compare-at price columns. ShipSane reads the file in your browser and uses its SKUs to look up current Shopify variants.
Compare current values
ShipSane searches the selected SKUs and checks exact returned variants. Partial reads stop the check rather than silently producing an incomplete receipt.

Download a dated receipt with expected and current values, search coverage, and clear match, difference, or unverified states. One test row has passed the owned-store file and download check; broader acceptance is still in progress.

Market pricing
ShipSane does not check Markets-specific or other contextual prices. If you sell at different prices by market, review those prices in Shopify separately.
What it cannot tell you
It cannot say when a value changed, prove an import ran, or detect unrelated changes without a before-import snapshot. A SKU absent from search is labeled “not returned,” not “missing from store.”
Current input limit
The first version accepts a product CSV up to 1 MB and 1,000 SKU-bearing rows. It supports current and older Shopify CSV price header names.

Will ShipSane change my products?
No. This check uses read-only Shopify product access and does not update variants.
Does the CSV go to a server?
No. The selected file is parsed in your browser. Its price columns stay there; by default, only the SKU list goes to the app server for targeted Shopify reads.
Does this cover prices in every market?
No. The receipt checks base variant price fields, not prices adjusted for a particular Shopify Market.
Can I install it today?
Not yet. The app is running on a private QA deployment and has passed a selected-file match and saved receipt check. Broader file checks, hosting capacity, public billing, and Shopify review still need to pass before public release.
